Practicing law is difficult to summarize, because each category of law and each individual lawyer has a different experience. Some lawyers almost become counselors to their clients, helping them navigate a painful divorce, while other lawyers never step foot in the court room and are doing hours of research behind the scenes. This last week, we have learned many surprising details about what practicing law can entail.

Additionally, our lawyers advise students interested in pursuing a law degree. Jobs are not always easy to come by, and law school does come at a steep price. But for those who are enthused by the prospect of helping people and enjoy research and reading, practicing law could be the right choice.
